Poetry Slam
We held a poetry slam, with lots of children performing poems they had read and enjoyed or written. It was great to see everyone enjoying lots of different types of poems and there were even winners in each year group.
Book Club
In our Reading for Pleasure club this term, we were looking at lots of different poems. We enjoyed reading them and performing them together, enjoying the patterns and the rhythm of the language.
